Transparent model attribution

OpenRouter Free is not a single fixed model or independent model developer. It is OpenRouter’s routing option for automatically selecting from the currently available free-model pool, so the underlying model can vary between requests. That flexibility can provide useful experimentation and cost control, but it also means capabilities and attribution must be recorded per response. In collaboration with Brainy, the router may assist with exploratory drafting or comparison tasks. Brainy verifies the actual model, checks all evidence, edits the output, and remains the publication author.
